Halotron is a "Clean Agent" HydroChloroFlouroCarbon discharged as a rapidly evaporating liquid that leaves no residue. Halotron is ideal for areas formerly protected by Halon 1211, such as computer rooms, telecommunications facilities, clean rooms, data storage areas, boats, vehicles, or anywhere else where electronic equipment is used. The extinguisher will not conduct electricity back to the operator and will not produce a thermal or static shock. The unit effectively extinguishes Class B and C fires by cooling and smothering.
